Engagement Encounters – Departmental elected officials sponsor projects led by young people from the Institut de l’Engagement

«On Wednesday 12 November at 2 p.m., Sandrine Baylac, Vice-President of the Departmental Council responsible for Citizen Dialogue, Equality and Youth, will open the 2025 edition of the «Rencontres de l’Engagement» (Meetings of Engagement) at the Hôtel du Département, in the presence of Isabelle Pogu, Director of Territorial Action at the Institut de l’Engagement.
Established in 2016, the Departmental Mission of Engagement is a unique scheme in France, supported by the Departmental Council of Haute-Garonne, in partnership with the Institut de l’Engagement. Its aim is to support young people involved in civic engagement in their future career paths by offering them mentorship from departmental elected officials.
Each year, these meetings aim to connect young laureates of the Institut de l’Engagement with elected officials from Haute-Garonne, during a »speed dating" style interview, with a view to establishing a mentorship to support their future projects.»
