In France, among young people aged 20 to 24, 77 % of children of executives, intermediate professionals or the self-employed study or have studied in higher education, compared to 52 % of children of manual workers or employees (i.e. 1.5 times more). While access to higher education remains strongly determined by social origin, this panel brings together 4 high-level speakers (State, universities, business schools, association) to share experiences, concrete levers and proposals to shift the dial from 2026.
