In partnership with the Institut de l’Engagement, the Musée d'Orsay is launching a call for projects open to young people aged 18 to 25, intended to offer a testing ground for young adults wishing to develop engaged projects.
The collections of the Musée d’Orsay evoke the profound changes of the 19th century, from industrialisation to the first environmental impacts, from historical upheavals to the first social gains. Two centuries later, the developments witnessed by the artists of that era still echo the challenges of today: ecological crises, women's rights, social concerns...
The Musée d'Orsay's collections are a tremendous tool for reflection, capable of supporting and sparking contemporary exchanges.
It is on the basis of this observation that the museum is today giving a voice to those born with the century, to offer new perspectives and new ways of experiencing the Musée d'Orsay.
Through this call for projects, the Musée d’Orsay wishes to encourage committed and innovative projects, proposing an original format, vision, or action compared to the museum's usual offerings. The aim is to enable young people to express their commitment with, in, and from the Musée d’Orsay.
Projects meeting the objectives of inclusion and environmental responsibility, consistent with the museums' institutional strategy, will be prioritised.
